Gage Street in Longmeadow was the hub of activity – the two-wheeled type – as boys rode their bikes and the older guys gathered around a Harley Davidson to replace a battery. The kids, all wearing helmets as they are required to do by law, seemed to have more road time than their seniors, who got the motorcycle to start with a cough.
