Mayor Joseph Solomon, the Department of Correction's Probation and Parole Supervisor, Christine Imbriglio, and Warwick Rotarian Ed Tavares served as judges for a Bake-Off and Best Costume contest at The Kent Center's annual All Staff Picnic. The event took place on September 5 at Goddard State Park. Led by CEO Dan Kubas-Meyer, The Kent Center's mission is to provide Rhode Islanders who face behavioral health challenges with the tools they need to thrive. The Kent Center's Erika Cannon accepted the prize on behalf of Karissa Libutti, who won first place for her Caramel Toffee Crunch Cheesecake. Jonathan Dupre (not pictured) and Stacy Silva-Boutwell tied for second place for their Raspberry “Thumbies" and carrot cake recipes.
