Robert Francis “Bob, Bobby, Bobo” DeFeo, 63, passed away at Maine Medical in Portland, Maine on November 11, 2017 after a long illness.

Born in Rhode Island, he was the son of the late John and Jeanne Rose Defeo. Before his retirement, Bob was an auto mechanic, one of the best around. If he couldn’t fix it, no one could! Bobby loved listening to music, especially country. He loved building model cars and going to old car shows. Bobo loved flea markets and collecting vintage items. He loved traveling in and around Maine to see the sights and especially loved anything Harley Davidson. He was a Rhode Island resident for 50 years before moving to Maine 13 years ago. He loved Portland so much that he decided to stay.

He leaves behind one son, Robert, and a granddaughter, Nadia. Bob also leaves two brothers, John and James DeFeo, and three sisters, Donna DeFeo and Sandra McCoombs of Warwick and Diane DeFeo of Cranston. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith Walsh. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Bob will be held on May 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick, followed by coffee and pastries downstairs in the church.

Burial will be Monday, May 21 at 10 a.m. at Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, 100 Harrison Ave., Warwick. All are welcome to attend.
