Robert A. Cook Jr., 58, a retired roofer for Local #33 Roofers Union, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Shirley M. (Cartrette) Cook.
Born in Warwick, he was the son of Margaret (D’Ambra) Cook and the late Robert A. Cook Sr. Robert served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the South County Rod and Gun Club and lifetime honorary member of the Blue Water Sportsman.
He was the loving father of Robert A. Cook III; loving grandfather of Ivan, Owen, Alanna and Myah; and loving cousin of James D’Ambra. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Paula J. Cook.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 3 at 9 a.m. from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave., Warwick.
