Mask fundraiser for homeless animals
Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter (FOWAS) is holding a pet-themed Mask Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside on the sidewalk at Pet Supplies Plus, 171 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston.
Masks are breathable all-cotton, two-ply, handmade and individually bagged. Many different pet-themed designs are available. Cash payment is preferred (no credit/debit cards). Masks are $12 each or two for $20, and there is no sales tax.
Proceeds will benefit homeless, stray, abandoned, injured and unwanted animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter. Masks will not be available for purchase until Nov. 21, and are not currently at the shelter.
Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at this event. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at Pet Supplies Plus.
