The Prout School Performing Arts Department will perform two one-act comedies on February 1 and 2 that address the modern universal human condition – anxiety.
“This is a Test” will be performed by underclassmen and “The Chronicles of Jane, Book Seven” will be performed by upperclassmen. While both plays focus on classic teenage situations – the struggle of writing a term paper and the anxiety over taking a test – audience members of all ages will be able to relate to the theme of panic in the face of being utterly unprepared. More than 40 students are involved in the productions. Tickets ($10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors) will be available at the door. Performances will take place in The Prout School auditorium in Wakefield at 7 p.m. each evening.
