Priscilla (Sousa) D’ Antonio, 82, died peacefully Monday, October 9, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlo D’Antonio, Sr.
Priscilla grew up in a Fox Point section of Providence, a daughter of the late Frank and Hilda (Pichico) Souza, and lived in Warwick for 50 years. She loved being a home maker and doting on her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant at St. Rita Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her two sons, Carlo D’Antonio, Jr. and his wife, Lisa and John D’Antonio and his wife, Toni and her beloved grandchildren, Zackary, Gabriel and Jacob D’Antonio. She was the sister of late David Souza, Frank Souza, John Sousa and Ruth D’Antonio. She also leaves a loving niece, Lisa Sousa and nephew, James Souza.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Avenue. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
