Philip A. Russo, 88, of Warwick died Tuesday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rosalie P. (DiMasso) Russo.
Born in Avellino, Italy, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Angelina (Stanco) Russo. Mr. Russo was a construction worker for thirty-one years. He later worked for the City of Glen Cove, NY department of Parks and recreation before retiring in 2008. He was an avid gardener and wine maker. He never put a brush to canvas, but his property was more beautiful than any Van Gogh. He lived the American dream.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Michael A. Russo of Wallingford, CT; Anthony Russo and his wife, Diana of Warwick and Marc Russo of glen Cove, NY. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren, Nikki, Marc and Anthony Russo. He was the younger brother of the late Concetta Andreotti and Maria Stanco.
