The Rotary Club of Warwick held its annual children’s Christmas party yesterday at Roberston School with more than 30 children attending from the city’s elementary schools. Students are selected by school principals for the event that including entertainment by Jay Brunelle; decorating and then, of course, eating cupcakes; pizza and naturally, a visit from Santa who hands out gifts. Members of the Rotary Club came well armed with screwdrivers and batteries to ensure all the toys functioned, as they should. The club also provides gift certificates so parents can buy shoes and coats.
