Misleading WSA offer

To the Editor:

Attention: All Warwick homeowners, especially those in Governor Francis Farms who have not connected to that sewer pipe in the street.

The Warwick Sewer Authority’s May 4, 2018 letter mailed to us is an unforgivable and deliberate misrepresentation by its Executive Director, Janine Burke-Wells and Service Manager, Anthony Poole, in my opinion.

Two homeowners have called me asking, “Why are we being forced to connect to the sewers?” My reply was, “You are being misled by the letter,” and advised them not to connect if they did not want to. You would save thousands of dollars before, eventually selling your house, if desired. At that time the buyers will have one year to connect.

    Dear Gene and readers,

A buyer has one year to connect but can also choose to finance the cost of it into the total purchase when preparing the Purchase and sales agreement.

    Be advised.

Hey Corrente did you ever pay your overdue taxes yet? Those lawsuits against you all settled?

    WwkVoter:

You correctly raise appropriate questions about the make-believe mayor's actual qualifications for advising homeowners about their rights with regard to sewer hookups. Given his confirmed prior tax delinquencies and multiple lawsuits against him, residents in the affected area would be wise to completely disregard his statements.

He is also attempting to place free commercial advertising on this website, which is expressly prohibited by the terms of use set by the owners of the Beacon, providing another reason to reject his earlier comment. [It's not to hard to understand why he is mentioning purchase and sales agreements: Because most of them would require new mortgages that he would, presumably, broker for them.] As with so many other examples of his pathetic behavior, this one, too, will fail.

    Dear WwkVoter,

I don't have "overdue taxes". I don't have "unsettled lawsuits". I would demand that you apologize for these vicious lies but you are too much of a coward to identify yourself.

Fake news. Fake sources. Fake people. Fake names.

    Happy Summer everyone.

Here, WwkVoter, let me assist yet again with the information that proves the make-believe mayor's tax delinquency. Thecaptain has previously provided all of the information about the successful lawsuits against him, so I will not repeat that.

This link is to an article buy a real news website, run by real people: https://warwickpost.com/gop-chair-files-election-board-complaint-against-corrente-for-failing-to-report-ad-hq-spending/

In that article are screenshots from the city tax assessor's office that prove the taxes on the make-believe mayor's property were paid in 2014 and 2015 by Clayton Shackleton, from whom the make-believe mayor is now renting office space, and in 2016 and 2017 by Red Stick Acquisitions of Louisiana.

These facts are not "vicious lies." They are the facts about the make-believe mayor and his failure to pay taxes. His pathetic whining about the use of screen names and demands for apologies from people who know the facts about him only further prove his complete unfitness for office. You and I and thousands of our honest, taxpaying neighbors know this, and will overwhelming reject his candidacy again.

... And just like that, WwkVoter, the make-believe mayor again leaves one article's comments to post his lies elsewhere.

Since his last comment posted 5/29 at 4:42 p.m., he has repeated his false claim about the change in Warwick's population [http://warwickonline.com/stories/warwick-less-populous-than-cranston-for-first-time-since-1950,134285?#comments], stated [wrongly] that a mayor could renegotiate the airport deal [http://warwickonline.com/stories/caoizzo-calls-for-more-airport-funds-shekarchi-doesnt-see-it-this-year,134292?#comments], and called people who previously contributed to his failed 2016 campaign "political insiders" and lied again about Cranston's history of tax increases [http://warwickonline.com/stories/a-democratic-revival,134291?#comments].

In all of these cases, as with this page, once the facts are presented, the make-believe mayor resorts to name-calling and whining about the use of screen names, and then stops commenting.

If anyone should apologize, it is the make-believe mayor, who has already run one failed campaign and is in the midst of another, and shown no ability or willingness to acknowledge the objective facts that prove his claims to be untrue.

Once he has been overwhelmingly rejected by voters again, I fully expect that he will blame everyone else except himself for his loss, providing a [hopefully] final pathetic attempt to avoid taking responsibility for his own behavior.
