Mildred M. (Donnelly) Gibbons, 91, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Vitas Hospice Unit in Delray Beach, Florida after a brief illness. Millie was predeceased by her beloved husband George, parents William and Annie (Kane) Donnelly, and sister Loretta.
Millie was a Pharmacy Assistant for many years in Providence until she “retired” to live with her family and share in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be remembered for her candor, her wit, and her devotion to family.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons George (Sandy) and William (Patti), sister Agnes, grandchildren Michael and Haley and great-grandchildren Alyssa and Michael.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Administration Building in Exeter on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:45 a.m. A service will take place at 12 noon in the Columbarium Committal Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held that evening at 6:00 pm in The Greenwood Inn, 1350 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick.
