Michael “Mike” J. Ferrante, 66, of Conimicut, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 1, 2019.
A lifelong resident of Warwick, Michael was born on March 19, 1953 to the late Emma N. (Piacitelli) Ferrante and the late Michael G. Ferrante. He graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School and attended both the University of Rhode Island and CCRI for engineering. His interests in engineering and electronics eventually led him to work as a computer technician. Always tinkering with something, Mike could usually be found in his spare time working on cars, electronics, ham radios or other items in need of repair. Mike had an appreciation for antiques and was always a friend to any cat that he took in or knew.
Mike is survived by his sister, Nadine A. (Ferrante) Beirne of Warwick, and his niece, Deanna M. Beirne of Boston, Mass.
