Maudette C. (Shields) Menzies, age 75, of Bucklin Avenue, Warwick, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the wife of the late James F. “Chico” Menzies.
Born in Canada, the daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (LeClerc) Shields, she lived in Warwick for 35 years.
She is survived by a son, Donald J. Perry, Jr. of Warwick; two brothers, Robert Shields of Virginia and Paul Shields of Massachusetts; and a granddaughter, Nicole Perry. She was the mother of the late Michael C. Perry.
Her funeral was held on Saturday, April 6, from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial was private. www.barrettandcotter.com
