Marjorie E. (Heath) Marcantonio, age 98, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Greenwich Farms in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Albert A. Marcantonio.

Born in Concord, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late William S. and Margaret I. (Collins) Heath, she lived in Providence before moving to Warwick in 1959. She was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy in Providence and Rhode Island College. Mrs. Marcantonio was employed as a teacher in the Warwick Public Schools for 25 years, most of those years as a teacher of first and second grade at John Greene Elementary School. She retired in 1984. She was an active supporter, past officer and former member of the Bishop Hendricken High School Parents Council. A long-time parishioner at St. Timothy Church, she was a member of St. Timothy’s Women’s Club. She was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Providence College Friars basketball.

She is survived by a daughter and two sons: Marjorie E. Lobley of Palm Desert, CA, Albert A. Marcantonio and his wife Kathleen of Portsmouth, and Paul J. Marcantonio and his wife Elizabeth of Coventry; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert A. Marcantonio, and the sister of the late Barbara L. Sherman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 12, at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. (Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.) Due to Covid-19 restrictions, her visiting hours and burial will be private.
