Let's not forget the union

To the Editor:

The very enlightening Beacon article “A plan to revive Warwick Schools” (8/8/17) by Brandon Pearson was well thought-out with many fine suggestions aimed at improving our students’ education. I would agree with many of them but not all of them.

Mr. Pearson rightfully asks every one of us in the education system to become more involved and accountable. He includes students, parents, the Superintendent, administrators, teachers, school Committee members, advisory board members, local businesses, other organizations and the mayor’s office.

Unfortunately, the Teachers Union was not mentioned.

Eugene Nadeau

Vice Chairman,

Warwick School Committee

    Dear Gene Nadeau,

Is that because Mr. Pearson believes that the Warwick Teachers Union is ALREADY involved? I would say "Yes."

    Happy Autumn everyone.

    Dear Mayor Dumbness,

Can you please shut up and stop showing your ignorance and lack of knowledge on every subject matter known to mankind? Please?

In my opinion Corrente is just self serving and usually has no idea what he is talking about.

Mean Gene strikes again, a man that wanted to be elected to school committee only to hurt teachers. If you don't believe me check the Beacon archives and read his letters to the editor for the last 15 years. Everything from name calling to Nazi references.

    NO GENE 2018!
