ARTICLE I
IN GENERAL
Be it ordained by the City of Warwick:
Section I. Chapter 2 Article I of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Warwick is hereby amended to add the following:
Sec. 2-26. – Notice of line item transfers in departments exceeding $5,000.
Within 24 hours of a line item transfer within a department that exceeds $5,000.00 or when multiple transfers accumulate to an amount in excess of $5,000.00 in a fiscal year, the department head shall give notice of the details of the transfer shall be given to the City Council President and the Chairperson of the Council Finance Committee.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as prescribed by law.
