See three spectacular international films when the 27th Annual Providence Latin American Film Festival comes to Warwick Public Library on September 25 and 26.

On Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m., see the 2018 Argentina drama Alicia and the 2019 Dominican Republic comedy About Colonia. In Alicia, Jotta recalls his battle to let his mother die with dignity in her home while cleaning out her house.

In About Colonia, Dominican-American nursing student Colonia lives in a tiny apartment with her eccentric mother.

On Thursday, September 26 at 7 p.m., enjoy the 2018 Peru comedy No Me Digas Solterona, or Don’t Call Me a Spinster. When 35-year-old Patricia discovers that her long-time boyfriend has been unfaithful, she struggles with her loss and her overbearing mothers fear that she may never get married.
