John H. Swenson, 70, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at home.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Herbert and Lillian (Turner) Swenson. He was employed for Pepsi-Cola before retiring. John was a Navy Seabees Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of the Seabees Museum, and St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
He is survived by a daughter Lynne Brailsford, and a son Kyle Swenson; two sisters Judy Carrara and Diane Bellemore; two granddaughters, Gabriella and Ryleigh.
His funeral will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Requiem Eucharist in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Post Rd., Apponau
