To the Editor:
Tis the season to be thankful, and I am
I’m a comfortable resident of Brentwood Nursing home I receive tender, loving care from the well-trained staff every hour of the day and night. Delicious and nutritious meals are served three times a day, and there are interesting activities every day.
In this “home away from home” I can relax. I don’t need to go to the grocery store. I don’t have to prepare meals. I don’t need to wash dishes or make beds. I don’t need to do laundry or scrub the floor.
All I need to do is pray that things will always stay this way.
Rosetta Mary Louise Furey Gillett Desrosiers.

It is rather lovely and refreshing to hear that someone is happy and thankful for being in a Nursing Home. Brentwood must be doing something right! Or possibly Ms. Desrosiers is someone that finds joy in all things. Either way, thank you for sending in this letter. Happiness is a state of mind.
