Henry D. King, 78, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lois A. (Girardin) King.
He was a son of the late Henry and Marie (LeBrun) King. Mr. King was employed by Electric Boat as a painter, Coventry School Department, as a school bus driver, and a self- employed shell fisherman.
He was the father of Charles, Donald, Eric, and Christopher King, Tanya Knutton, Amy Lucia, and the late Rodney King; brother of the late Larry King, and Betty Ann Zelewski; also survived by his 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 p.m.
