Gertrude Farman, 86, passed away on May 16, 2019 at the home of her son in Groveland, Florida.
She was born in Providence, the daughter of Frederick and Annie (Stewart) Behm. Formally of Warwick, she was the wife of the late Melvin Farman Sr. She and her husband owned Farmans Market in Oakland Beach for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Melvin Jr. (Kathleen) of Groveland, Fla., Walter of Johnston and William of Forestville, California. She was the mother of the late Donald Farman.
She was laid to rest at Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, beside her husband. Her funeral was private.
