Gerald J. “Jay” Limoges

Gerald J. “Jay” Limoges of Warwick, passed away on September 3, 2017. He was the husband of 26 years to G. Karen (Coutcher) Limoges.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert T. Limoges and Eleanor (Guiles) Collins, and the step-son of the late Joseph Sheehan. He lived in Cranston before moving to Warwick 14 years ago.

Jay was employed by several companies in Rhode Island as a laborer in construction until becoming disabled in 2002. He was “Daddy” to his four- legged son, Jonbear, who he loved playing with. He loved fishing, taking rides to Galilee to watch the boats, concerts, and listening to music.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Robert T. Limoges, Jr. of Westport, MA; a sister, Gail Aldridge of Warwick, a step-brother, Timothy Sheehan of Hernando, FL; several nieces and nephews; and one grandniece, Kathryn, that he loved dearly. He also had a grandniece and grandnephew in Florida that he was looking forward to meeting. Jay was the brother of the late Linda Musco.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, at from 9 a.m. – 12 noon, with a brief prayer service at 11 a.m., in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial will be private.
