Lawn games will be available, but attendees should feel free to bring personal favorites to enjoy with new friends.
A number of local businesses have generously donated prizes for a raffle to kick off fundraising to update the 40-year-old playground. Tickets will be on sale for $5 each or
$20 for five, and the winning tickets will be drawn during a neighborhood meeting, planned for October.
The Warwick Parks and Recreation Department will provide extra picnic tables near the playground for the occasion. However, personal lawn chairs and blankets will allow
enjoyment of the park from any vantage point. Bringing insect repellent and plenty of liquid refreshment will ensure personal comfort at this outdoor event.
