Edward M. “Ed” Money, 77, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Joan L. (Beaufort) Money.
A lifelong resident of Warwick, he was the son of the late Edward M. and Calista (Windsor) Money. Ed was employed as a design manager. He started his career at the age of 18 in 1958 with Gorham Manufacturing, now Lenox and had continued working as a consultant.
He was the beloved father of Kathleen A. Smietana (Ted), Steven E. Money (Beth), and Debra L. McCaughey (Jim) and the loving grandfather of Ryan Gross (Kate Welteroth), Shannon Renaud (Kyle), Sara Palmer (Tim), Jason Money (Paige Keller), and Kyle McCaughey. He also leaves his brother-in-law, who he was very close to, Kenneth Beaufort (Grace).
His funeral will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St. Burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 p.m.
