Deborah A. Garcia, 65, was called home to the angels on February 28, 2018. Deborah passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and will surely be missed by many.

Deborah was born on August 7, 1952 to the late Harold and Irene (St. John) Gibbons. Deborah worked as a nurse for over 30 years and worked in several local hospitals and doctors offices throughout her life. Deborah loved angels, good conversation and time with family.

Deborah was the wife of the late Aureilo “Joe” Garcia and is survived by her three children and their spouses: Shani Garcia (Anthony Jacques), Robert Garcia (Morgan Garcia) and Rosalia Garcia Firth (John Firth). Deborah had three grandchildren whom she loved and adored: Rylee Firth, Reagan Garcia and Payton Garcia.

Deborah’s wish was to have her body donated to science at Brown University to further the education of doctors in the health care field in hope of a better tomorrow for others.

Deborah’s children will be having a “Remembrance and Celebration of Life” in her honor at the William Shields Post at 662 West Shore Road in Warwick on March 31 between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. All friends and family are encouraged to come and celebrate with her children the remarkable life she had. Friends and family are also encouraged to bring any and all of their favorite memories, pictures, scrapbooks, etc. to share with all of us. Remember, this is a celebration and remembrance of the life of Deborah A. Garcia and all acquaintances are welcome to celebrate with us. Food and beverages will be available at the location.
