Carol A. (Barnes) McDougal, age 83, of Coventry, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. She was the wife of the late Roscoe K. “Mack” McDougal.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ernest G. and Sadie L. (Foskey) Barnes, she lived in Coventry since 1969. Carol was the owner/operator of Victoria’s Cottage Consignments. She had also worked at St. Elizabeth Home in Providence and Bee Hive Candies in Warwick. She was an avid reader, a cat lover and enjoyed and appreciated artwork and paintings.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy A. Pagnozzi (Gennaro Pagnozzi) and Holly J. McDougal; a son, Andrew K. McDougal (Kimberly Vadenais); and her beloved granddaughter, Victoria Pagnozzi. She was the sister of the late Beverly A. Barnes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 8:30 a.m. in Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Friday, Dec. 13 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
