Beatrice A. “Bea” (Burgess) Natalizia, age 88, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Ralph Natalizia.
Born in Warwick, and a life-long resident, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Catherine M. (Myers) Burgess. Mrs. Natalizia was a homemaker, and bookkeeper for Buttonwoods Service Center in Warwick. She was a former volunteer for West Bay Community Action, and a member of the Pilgrim Senior Center. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Warwick.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons, Marsha J. Natalizia of Providence, Ralph B. Natalizia, Sr. (Linda) of Coventry, Leslie A. Voccio (Steven) of Coventry, Susan M. Gillheeney (Robert) of North Providence, and David A. Natalizia (Laurie) of Warwick; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Catherine E. Burgess, Winifred E. Fletcher, Margaret J. Huling, and Constance Z. Thomson.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Requiem Eucharist at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
