Anthony Joseph Rossi, 69, a resident of Warwick since 1981, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Kent Hospital. He is survived by his adoring and beautiful wife, Wendy Ann (Gibbons) Rossi.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph R. Rossi and Angelina (Palazzo) Rossi - Murphy and stepson of the late Charles Murphy. Mr. Rossi was retired President of Money America Mortgage Co., licensed in all 50 states and a member of the R.I. Mortgage Brokers Assn. (RIMBA). A veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he continued his Army Reserve service for many years. Mr. Rossi was a member of St. Gregory the Great Parish.
Besides his devoted and caring wife he leaves his Godson, Kevin Kuncio and his close friends Larry Bedard and Paul and Joanne Giroux. He was predeceased by his siblings: Joseph Rossi Jr. and Theresa Pacheco.
His funeral will be held, Wednesday, March 21,2018 at 8:45a.m. from the Urquhart - Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the Funeral Home Tuesday, March 20,2018 from 4 to 7p.m.
