Ann Marie (Horton) Carrier-Dowding, 73, passed away at home, Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert Dowding and Armand “Pete” Carrier.
She was a daughter of Eva (White) Horton and the late Thomas Horton. Ann Marie was employed at Ann & Hope for many years before retiring, and was a member of the William Shields American Legion Post #43, Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons and daughters, George Dowding, Barbara Palmer, Sherry Dowding, Robert Dowding, Scott Dowding, Paul Wyroxtek, and Diane O’Brien; brothers and sisters, Diane O’Brien, Thomas Horton, Debra Lemaire, Michael Horton, Donna Horton, and Denise Grant; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave., Warwick, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
