Alice (Murdoch) Livesey

Alice (Murdoch) Livesey, 102, surrounded by family, passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at home. Alice was born February 8, 1918 to the late Archibald and Margaret (Pearson) Murdoch. She was the wife of the late William Livesey.

Her love for her Lord Jesus Christ and her family were the most important things in her life. She attended Buttonwoods Bible Chapel in Warwick. Alice studied at the Providence Bible Institute and was a charter member of the Cornerstone Church. She contributed many hours of handwork to the Children’s Bible Mission. Alice worked as a secretary for Wheelock Insurance Company, Brown and Sharpe where she met her husband, William, and Grace Church in Providence.

She was the mother of six children: Margaret E Yoder and her husband David of Grants Pass, OR, Christine L. Sabatino and her husband Gene of West Unity, OH, William A. Livesey and his wife Susan of West Kingston, Rachel A. Livesey of Warwick, the late Bethany R. Livesey and Timothy J. Livesey of Groton, CT. She is survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and her sister Ellen (Murdoch) Wheeler of Lake Havasu City, AZ. She is predeceased by her siblings William Murdoch, Margaret Murdoch, Agnes Betsy Pepper, Janet Fisher and James Murdoch.
