Barnes & Noble Warwick will host internationally best-selling author Tess Gerritsen for a discussion and book singing for her new book

I KNOW A SECRET: Rizzoli & Isles Series #12 on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at 1350 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick.

Gerritsen’s Rizzoli & Isles series now boasts millions of copies of books in print, has won the acclaim of fans and critics alike, and was the basis for TNT’s long-running hit show which starred Angie Harmon as the hard-nosed Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as the determined Isles. Now, Gerritsen returns with the latest installment in I HAVE A SECRET.  Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles continue their best-selling crime-solving streak as they pursue a shadowy psychopath keeping secrets and taking lives.

For I KNOW A SECRET, Gerritsen drew upon her macabre sensibilities – including her love of classic horror flicks like The Birds, The Mummy and Them, as well as her recent experience writing the screenplay for her son’s indie film Island Zero – to deliver an edge-of-your-seat read and a crime case steeped in unsettling rituals.

I KNOW A SECRET is classic Gerritsen – authentic medical details, a gripping read and characters you immediately connect to and care about.

Tess Gerritsen is a former physician and the internationally best-selling author of Die Again, Last to Die, The Silent Girl, Ice Cold, The Keepsake, The Bone Garden, The Mephisto Club, Vanish, Body Double, The Sinner, The Apprentice, The Surgeon, Life Support, Bloodstream and Gravity. TNT's original series Rizzoli & Isles starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander is based on Tess Gerritsen's best-selling novels.

Tess Gerritsen wrote a book titled "I know a secret".

I think we now know what it is.

Once again, The Beacon is ahead of its time.

    Happy September everyone.
