In a ceremony held Aug. 3 at the Kent County YMCA, four members of Troop 7 Buttonwoods were awarded their Eagle badges. They are (from left) Liam Redmond, a student at CCRI and the son of John and Gwen Redmond; Aiden Meservey, who is a student at Rhode Island College and is the son of Andy and Roberta Meservey; Joshua Summers, who has entered the workforce and is the son of Frederick and Eleanor Summers; and Brenton Sunderland, a CCRI student and son of Brent and Denise Sunderland.
