Mary (Schlindwein) Rossman, 84, of Warwick, RI, passed away on January 6, at Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of RI, in Coventry, RI. Born in Mount Holly, NJ, January 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Holtz) Schlindwein.

Mary graduated from Moorestown High School, NJ in 1955. Mary married a local boy in 1957, George Rossman, and they were happily married for 62 years before his passing in 2019. They lived in Moorestown, NJ for 12 years and moved the family to RI in 1970. Mary was a working mom for 25 years, retiring from Anne and Hope in 1998. Mary was quiet but friendly to all. She was loyal and caring to her family, a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was exceptionally proud of her great-grandchildren. Mary loved to spend time with her family, cook and keep a clean house. Mary always enjoyed the summer months relaxing on the beach with George. In the winter months she kept busy working on 5000 piece Jigsaw puzzles. Mary loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, family gatherings and weddings in New England and New Jersey.

She is survived by her daughters Karen (Paul) Taylor, Gwen (Todd) Jones, and Pamela Stocksdale (Brian) Stalnaker; her grandchildren Holly (Robert) Rodriquez, Megan (Willis) Vandevanter, Cory (Kayla) Taylor, Kyle (Kim) Taylor, seven great-grandchildren and twenty seven nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Anna, and Eleanor and the late Ross Langlois, Samantha Jones, Rachel Langlois, Mitchell Jones, Shelby Langlois, sister of Florence, Elizabeth and Samual.

At the request of the family a private ceremony will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
